Description

Model 36 slab saw is a 36-inch glass coldworking and lapidary equipment precision slab cutting with heavy-gauge, powder-coated steel tank, powerfeed, crossfeed vise and 3 horsepower motor. Greenline Agate Eater diamond blade is included in the machine.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS:

  • ARBOR SHAFT – Cold-rolled steel machined to 1-3/8 inch diameter bearing. 1-inch diameter for diamond saw arbor

  • BLADE FLANGES – Steel 9-inch outside diameter

  • BLADE – Greenline Agate Eater segmented 36-inch blade included

  • AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF SWITCH – Adjustable for length of cut

  • POWERFEED – 3 speeds. Approximate workpiece infeed rates:

  1. 6¼ inches per hour

  2. 7½ inches per hour

  3. 9¼ inches per hour

  • SPLIT NUT DRIVE – Engages carriage with powerfeed screw. Released by a flip of the handle for a quick carriage return

  • ROLLER BEARING CARRIAGE – Carriage rides on precision roller bearings instead of metal on metal bushings resulting in accurate operation that will never wear out.

  • WAYS – 1½ inch square cold rolled steel structural tubing

  • SAW BOX – Welded -1/4 inch (.236) thick steel. Inside dimensions 38" wide x 22" deep x 74" long. Overall height with the hood closed – 53 inches. Stainless drain cap and heavy-duty locking casters included.

  • VISE – Cast iron jaws; 12" high x 12" long
